The Toledo Lucas County Public Library is the public library system serving the city of Toledo and all of Lucas County, Ohio. Founded in 1838, it is one of the oldest public libraries in the state; its Main Library downtown at 325 Michigan Street is a 1940 Public Works Administration–era building, and the system operates neighborhood branches throughout Toledo and its suburbs.
