📖 About Reynolds Corners Branch
The Reynolds Corners Branch opened in 1958 as part of the Lucas County Library System, originally operating out of a rented storefront. In July 1975 it relocated to a larger 6,000-square-foot storefront in a nearby strip mall. The branch's current dedicated building on Dorr Street was constructed in 1985 and later underwent a major year-long renovation completed in 2009 using LEED green-building methods. That renovation added an enlarged meeting room, study rooms, an expanded children's area, a new roof, a relocated entryway, and an enclosed courtyard. The branch serves West Toledo's Reynolds Corners neighborhood and offers a full range of materials, technology, and programming for all ages.
