📖 About Jan K. Platt Regional Library
The Jan Kaminis Platt Regional Library opened in December 2000 in South Tampa, the first branch in the system with a drive-thru window and the first with colored interior walls. It is named for Jan Kaminis Platt, a former Hillsborough County Commissioner and ALA Freedom to Read Honor Roll honoree, and a 2018 renovation added eight meeting and study rooms.
