Seminole Heights Branch traces to 1927 as one of Tampa's original seven public libraries. The original structure was demolished in 2012 and the current two-story, 22,000-square-foot building, designed in the American Craftsman style to fit the historic neighborhood, opened in March 2014 with a donation bookstore and access to Adobe Creative Cloud.
