The Jimmie B. Keel Regional Library opened in February 2001 serving Carrollwood and Northdale, named for a longtime Hillsborough County administrator. A 2014 expansion added a glass-enclosed children's room and story time room, a larger community room, collaborative workspaces and an enlarged Carousel Book Store.
