📖 About John F. Germany Public Library
The John F. Germany Public Library opened in April 1968, replacing a 1917 Carnegie building, and was renamed in 1999 to honor civic leader Judge John F. Germany. The 140,000-square-foot building anchors downtown Tampa near the Riverwalk and houses The Hive, a 10,000-square-foot innovation center with a recording studio, 3D printers and robotics, plus a Florida History and Genealogy collection with more than 20,000 historical photographs.
