The Wrightwood-Ashburn Branch is located on South Kedzie Avenue in the Wrightwood neighborhood within the greater Ashburn community area on Chicago's Southwest Side. Wrightwood holds the distinction of being the first part of Ashburn to racially integrate, and today the surrounding area is a predominantly African American middle-class community. The branch features an on-site parking lot with two accessible spaces on the south side of the building, a meeting room available for public reservation, and the Teacher in the Library program running Tuesday through Thursday from 3–6 PM.
