📖 About Edgebrook Branch

The Edgebrook Branch serves the far northwest side neighborhood of Edgebrook, an area annexed by Chicago in 1889 that retains a distinctly suburban feel bordered by the Cook County Forest Preserves to the west. The branch building sits on Devon Avenue and includes an elevator, a rear parking lot accessed via Minnehaha Avenue, and one of CPL's dedicated seed library collections — a community resource not available at every location. It offers ADA computer workstations with 24-inch monitors and accessible tables, and a meeting room available for public reservation.
