North Cobb Regional Library opened in September 2019, consolidating the former Acworth Library (rooted in the 1889 Carrie Dyer Reading Club) and the Kennesaw Library. The 25,000-square-foot building across from North Cobb High School has a sloped roofline meant to evoke Kennesaw Mountain and an open book, and includes a teen makerspace, a children's room, a computer training lab, study rooms, a community garden and an outdoor plaza.
