📖 About Sweetwater Valley Library
Sweetwater Valley Library traces to 1913, when the Austell Woman's Club founded a circulating library that moved through a log cabin and a storefront before joining the Cobb County system in 1966. In 2003 it relocated into the first floor of the City of Austell's renovated Coats and Clark Thread Mill, a historic complex on Austell-Powder Springs Road. The branch lends 14 ukuleles and hosts the West Georgia Ukulele Ensemble on Saturdays.
