📖 About Sewell Mill Library and Cultural Center
Sewell Mill Library and Cultural Center opened in December 2017, replacing the East Marietta Library that had served the community since 1967. Built with SPLOST funding and a Georgia Board of Regents grant, the 28,000-square-foot facility includes a black box theater, an outdoor amphitheater, art galleries, classrooms and Creative Studios with a recording studio, sound booths and a green-screen video room. A digitization lab lets patrons convert VHS tapes, cassettes, vinyl records, photos, slides and documents to digital formats.
