📖 About Dr. Mark and Tonya Spivey Public Library

Formerly the Vidalia-Toombs County Library, this Jackson Street facility reopened in April 2023 following a reconstruction that combined city, county, state and private funding, and was renamed the Dr. Mark and Tonya Spivey Public Library. The building does triple duty as the Vidalia-Toombs County branch, the administrative headquarters of the Ohoopee Regional Library System, and the home of the Ladson Genealogical Library, whose collection holds hundreds of volumes for family-history and local research.
