📖 About Northern Lights Branch
The Northern Lights Branch serves north Columbus from its home on Cleveland Avenue near the Northern Lights shopping district. Part of the first phase of Columbus Metropolitan Library's building program, the branch was expanded and fully renovated, reopening in 2016. The project reworked the original 1990 brick building and added roughly 12,000 square feet of new space, along with technology upgrades and a much larger parking area with about 114 spaces. The result is a bright, 21st-century library designed for families and lifelong learners. Amenities include a dedicated teen gaming center, maker tables, an expanded Homework Help Center, and a Ready for Kindergarten area for early learners, plus meeting rooms, study rooms, public computers, Wi-Fi and mobile printing.
