📖 About Hilltop Branch
The Hilltop Branch serves Columbus's west-side Hilltop neighborhood from the corner of South Hague and Sullivant avenues. The original 20,000-square-foot building opened here in 1996; a major renovation and expansion began in early 2020, and the transformed branch — now roughly 32,000 square feet, designed by architecture firm Gresham Smith — celebrated its grand opening on September 30, 2021. The rebuilt library gives the neighborhood a much larger footprint for learning and gathering, including meeting and study rooms, a computer lab, an adult learning lab, a large children's area and a dedicated teen space with its own collection and computers. Part of the Columbus Metropolitan Library system, the Hilltop Branch is a cornerstone of one of the city's most populous west-side communities.
