📖 About Wilson County Public Library
Wilson County Public Library is the county-run library system serving Wilson County, North Carolina, in the state's eastern coastal plain. Its Main Library anchors downtown Wilson at 249 Nash Street N, and the system extends into the surrounding towns through five smaller branches — an East Branch at 6000-C Ward Boulevard in Wilson, plus community branches in Black Creek, Elm City, Lucama and the Crocker Library in Stantonsburg — and a bookmobile that circulates to Rock Ridge, Sims, White Oak, Bridgersville and neighborhood park stops across the county. Library cards are free to anyone living in the United States, and the collection is searchable through the library's own Biblionix online catalog. In October 2024 the library moved its digital collection to the E-iNC OverDrive consortium, so cardholders now borrow e-books and audiobooks through the Libby app, and everyone in the state also reaches thousands of research databases and e-books through NC LIVE.
