The Troy Community Library at 402 S. Main Street is the home library for the small farming and logging community of Troy, Idaho, in the rolling Palouse hills of Latah County. The branch opened in the summer of 1977 and moved in 1994 into the Bohman Building — named for the pioneer Whittaker family — built on a lot donated by Key Bank of Idaho with generous gifts from residents Chet and Violet Whittaker and fundraising by the Friends of the Troy Library.

Troy Community Library is one of seven branches of the Latah County Library District, which is headquartered at the Moscow Public Library (208-882-3925) and serves communities across Latah County through branches in Bovill, Deary, Genesee, Kendrick, Moscow, Potlatch, and Troy. The Troy branch opened in 1977, originally in an office building on Main Street near the fire station. After years of community fundraising led by the Friends of the Troy Library, a new purpose-built library was constructed on a donated lot and dedicated in September 1994 as the Bohman Building, honoring Violet Whittaker's pioneer Bohman family roots. The branch checks out books, DVDs, and audiobooks from the shared VALNET catalog, hosts monthly storytimes (October through April), and connects cardholders to Idaho's statewide LiLI research databases and Libby eBooks. The meeting room is available for community reservation.
