Foley Community Library serves the fastest-growing county in Alabama from its current home on East Orange Avenue in the heart of Foley's historic downtown district. The library maintains a mission of fostering learning, creativity, and community connection for every resident. A standout feature is the second-floor Cultural & Heritage Collections department, housing more than 13,500 titles covering local and regional history alongside the complete Onlooker newspaper archive on microfilm from 1910 to 2008 — making it the premier genealogy research destination for south Baldwin County. A major expansion project now underway will double the library's footprint to 43,000 square feet, adding a STEAM lab, sensory room, multi-purpose room, and enlarged children's area, with completion targeted for spring 2026.
