The Waiʻanae Public Library is a branch of the Hawaiʻi State Public Library System on leeward Oʻahu, opened on December 20, 1966. Sitting beside the Waiʻanae Fire Station and Waiʻanae District Park, this small but busy branch serves about 28,000 people spread along the coast from Māʻili to Mākaha, including students from Waiʻanae High School and nearby intermediate, elementary and charter schools. Its collection of roughly 54,520 volumes includes a notable set of Hawaiian quilt patterns.
