📖 About Mamie George Branch Library
The Mamie George Branch Library opened on November 18, 1974 on a site donated by Fort Bend ISD, with construction funded by The George Foundation. Named for Mamie George, it was co-founded with the Albert George Branch in the same 1974 expansion, and in 2015 renovations introduced Fort Bend County Libraries' first makerspace.
