📖 About Albert George Branch Library
The Albert George Branch Library opened on November 11, 1974 on a site donated by the Needville Chamber of Commerce and Lions Club, with construction funded by The George Foundation. Named for philanthropist A.P. (Albert) George, it was one of the two branches that turned Fort Bend County Libraries into a multi-branch system, and was expanded in 1997 with a new entrance, restrooms and a meeting room.
