The Grayson Branch broke ground in August 2005 and opened on October 28, 2006, funded through Gwinnett's 2001 SPLOST program. The 20,000-square-foot building near downtown Grayson launched with roughly 65,000 items and 23 public internet computers, and is one of five GCPL branches offering Open Access extended hours.
