About Beloit Public Library

The Beloit Public Library, located at 605 Eclipse Boulevard, is a cornerstone of the Beloit community along the Wisconsin-Illinois border. Founded in 1895, the library has served generations of residents with an ever-growing collection of print and digital materials. Its welcoming modern facility includes a café, flexible community spaces, and dedicated areas for children, teens, and adults. The library is currently developing a Discovery PLAYce early literacy space to enrich children's learning through hands-on play.

Beloit Public Library delivers a wide range of digital resources through Libby/OverDrive and Hoopla, plus public computers and free Wi-Fi for residents who need connectivity. Community programming includes children's storytimes, teen activities, ESL classes, and adult enrichment events. The library participates in the WISCAT interlibrary loan network and the MORE shared catalog, allowing patrons to borrow from libraries across Wisconsin and northern Illinois.
