📖 About Antigo Public Library

The Antigo Public Library traces its roots to a Carnegie-funded building erected in 1904 on Superior Street; that Colonial Revival structure now houses the Langlade County Historical Society Museum. Today's library at 617 Clermont Street carries forward that tradition of community service with a collection of over 55,000 volumes, public computers, high-speed Wi-Fi, and an active bookmobile that reaches patrons in Elcho, Elton, and White Lake. Part of the Wisconsin Valley Library Service (WVLS) shared catalog, the library links residents to holdings at 25 public libraries across seven north-central Wisconsin counties. Langlade County patrons also unlock the full BadgerLink suite — newspapers, databases, and streaming learning tools — at no charge with a free library card.
