Carnegie Public Library is the sole public library serving the Town of Carnegie in Caddo County, southwestern Oklahoma. The library takes its name from the same man who endowed more than 2,500 library buildings worldwide — Andrew Carnegie — and Carnegie, Oklahoma is one of many American towns that bear his name as a legacy of his philanthropic campaign to spread public library access.
