📖 About Westland Area Library

The Westland Area Library is one of two locations of Southwest Public Libraries (SPL), the special-district system that has served southwest Franklin County since 1923 from its main Grove City Library. The Westland branch sits at 4740 West Broad Street in the Lincoln Village shopping area, serving the west-side neighborhoods along the Broad Street corridor. As part of Southwest Public Libraries, the branch shares a Polaris catalog through the Central Library Consortium of Ohio, so a single SPL card borrows across the consortium's member libraries. Alongside its collection, the Westland branch offers meeting-room space, notary service, public computers with Microsoft Office and printing, and year-round programs from storytimes to adult ESL classes.
