The Morton Mandan Public Library is the public library for the City of Mandan and all of Morton County, North Dakota, sitting on Main Street in the Bismarck-Mandan metro just west of the Missouri River. It was created on May 15, 2007, when the Mandan Public Library and the separate Morton County Library merged into a single system, combining their staff and collections under one roof at 609 West Main Street. Today it holds roughly 50,000 volumes and belongs to the Central Dakota Library Network, a regional consortium whose shared SirsiDynix catalog lets a Mandan card borrow from libraries across five counties. Beyond its shelves, the library reaches rural Morton County through "Morti," its bookmobile, a Doorstep Library home-delivery program, and monthly homeschool boxes.
