📖 About Seymour Branch

Seymour Branch has served the southeast Grand Rapids community since 1963, when neighborhood activists organized to establish library service in the area. After relocating in 1981, the branch moved into its current purpose-built home on September 25, 2000 as part of a $28.2 million system-wide expansion. The new building is nearly three times the size of the former facility and features a large children's play area, bright reading spaces, meeting rooms, study rooms, and technology-rich programming spaces. Drive-up book drop, hold lockers, public computers, Wi-Fi, and free parking complete the package for one of GRPL's most substantial neighborhood branches.
