📖 About Queen Anne's County Library — Kent Island Branch

The Kent Island Branch is one of two Queen Anne's County Library locations, serving Stevensville and the fast-growing Kent Island communities that sit at the eastern foot of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. Along with the Centreville Branch in the county seat, it forms a two-branch county system backed by a Crumpton 24/7 lending kiosk and a Mobile Library that reaches community stops across Queen Anne's County. The library shares the eShore catalog on the Polaris platform, so a card here also borrows across the partner libraries of Maryland's Eastern Shore. Beyond books, the Kent Island Branch runs a makerspace with 3D printing, an audio recording studio, a Memory Center, a Library of Things and on-site notary and test-proctoring services, all free to county residents.
