The Livingston Parish Library is the public library system for Livingston Parish, Louisiana, one of the fastest-growing parishes in the state located east of Baton Rouge along the I-12 corridor. The main branch at 20390 Iowa Street anchors a countywide system whose 2025 statistics reflect strong community engagement: 523,297 total circulations and 164,112 eContent circulations in a single year, with more than 70,000 event attendances. The library's mission — 'Connect. Discover. Enrich.' — is embodied in resources that go well beyond the traditional collection: a Digital Media Lab for creative projects, an Idea Lab for hands-on exploration, a Library of Things for equipment lending, and robust adult literacy and outreach programs. In September 2026 the system welcomed Scott Kleinpeter as its new director. Cardholders can borrow eBooks and digital content through Louisiana's statewide LaLibrary digital lending network.
