Smoky Hill Library has served the southeastern Centennial community since moving to its current home on S. Biscay Circle in 2003, bringing expanded space to a rapidly growing suburb of Arapahoe County. Part of the nine-branch Arapahoe Library District — established in 1966 to serve unincorporated county areas not reached by Aurora, Englewood, or Littleton — the branch occupies a two-story, ADA-accessible building with meeting rooms, study spaces, a Digital Media Station, Level 2 EV charging, and an in-house café serving Hold Fast Coffee and local pastries. Smoky Hill is one of four district branches designated a Family Place Library, maintaining a dedicated early-childhood play area staffed by an Early Literacy Specialist during drop-in hours.
