Founded in 1920, the Peoria Public Library System serves one of Arizona's fastest-growing cities, a West Valley community that has grown from a small farming town to nearly 200,000 residents. The main branch at 8463 W. Monroe Street houses an Amplify Studio creative workspace alongside traditional reading rooms, a seed library that supports community gardeners with free seeds each season, and a children's zone for Pip's 1,000 Book Challenge. The library lends more than physical books: MAX Lending puts technology accessories, mobile Wi-Fi hotspots, video games and Explore-To-Go kits into community hands.
