The Jackson-Madison County Library System serves Jackson, Tennessee — the economic hub of West Tennessee and seat of Madison County — with two public library locations and four community book drop stations. The Main Library at 433 East Lafayette Street is the flagship, providing late evening hours (until 8 p.m. Monday–Thursday), public computers, free Wi-Fi, and a full collection of books, DVDs, audiobooks and digital resources. The system's North Branch at 8 Stonebridge Blvd in north Jackson is open Monday–Friday 9 a.m.–6 p.m. Books checked out at either location can be returned to any book drop, including Madison South Shopping Plaza and Old Hickory Mall near J.C.
