The Redan-Trotti Library opened on April 15, 1991 as part of DeKalb's expansion program, serving the Redan area of southeast DeKalb. It is named jointly for the Redan Road corridor and for Louise Trotti, the system's second director and first supervisor of bookmobile services, and has a dedicated youth services area.
