📖 About Tucker-Reid H. Cofer Branch
The Tucker-Reid H. Cofer Library is named for Reid Cofer, co-founder of Cofer Brothers (1919), Tucker's oldest business. The 25,000-square-foot building opened on January 23, 2010, replacing a 1965 facility, funded through a county bond. Designed by LEO A DALY, the LEED-registered building has a barrel-vaulted roof, largely daylit spaces and holds up to 82,000 volumes.
