📖 About San Marcos Library
The San Marcos Library is a branch of the San Diego County Library (SDCL) located at 2 Civic Center Drive in the San Marcos civic center district. Even though the city of San Marcos has its own government, its public library service is provided by the county system, so a single free SDCL card borrowed here is valid at every county branch and unlocks the system's digital collection. The branch is open seven days a week — the most of any of these North County branches — and offers a community room that groups can reserve, public computers, free Wi-Fi and a MakerBot 3D printer. It is ADA accessible, serves as a County Cool Zone and hosts a Friends of the Library bookstore.
