📖 About Lamoni Public Library

Established in the late 19th century, Lamoni Public Library has evolved from a modest reading room into a modern community hub at 301 W. Main Street. The library holds more than 26,000 print volumes and provides access to 107,000 eBooks through the Bridges platform, one of Iowa's largest ebook collections for a library of its size. Its Digital Archives project has assembled 75,421 scanned pages from the Lamoni Chronicle and other local records spanning 1885 to 2020, making it an essential resource for genealogists and local historians. A close partnership with Graceland University — located just blocks away — enriches the library's programming calendar, including the annual STEAM festival. Director Felicia Williams leads a staff committed to meeting both the everyday and specialized research needs of the Lamoni community.
