<p>Alexander Library at 1755 W Alexander Road is the third and newest branch of the North Las Vegas Library District, opened in March 2009. Described at opening as the city's newest state-of-the-art facility, it was built alongside a two-acre park featuring tot lots, shade structures, paved and lighted walking paths, and demonstration gardens — creating a combined library and outdoor community space in central North Las Vegas. The library provides public access computers, free Wi-Fi, adult and children's programming, meeting rooms, books, DVDs, magazines, and downloadable media. The North Las Vegas Library District operates three full-service branches: the founding North Las Vegas Library (1966) at 2250 Las Vegas Blvd N, Aliante Library (2006) at 2400 Deer Springs Way, and this location. District cardholders also access OverDrive/Libby for ebooks and audiobooks and the Nevada State Library and Archives' statewide database subscriptions, which include EBSCO, Salem Press, Value Line, and digital newspaper archives.</p>
