<p>Aliante Library at 2400 Deer Springs Way is the second branch of the North Las Vegas Library District, opened on May 24, 2006 at a cost of approximately $5.2 million. Built to serve the Aliante master-planned community in northeastern North Las Vegas, the branch was the first public library constructed in the city in more than four decades. It sits adjacent to the Aliante Nature Discovery Park, combining civic infrastructure with outdoor recreation in one of the region's newest neighborhoods. The library provides public access computers, free Wi-Fi, adult and children's programming, meeting rooms, books, DVDs, magazines, and downloadable media. The North Las Vegas Library District operates three full-service branches — this location, the founding North Las Vegas Library (1966) at 2250 Las Vegas Blvd N, and the Alexander Library (2009) at 1755 W Alexander Rd. All district cardholders also enjoy free access to OverDrive/Libby and the Nevada State Library and Archives' statewide database subscriptions.</p>
