📖 About Yuma County Foothills Library

Yuma County Foothills Library serves the Foothills area along Interstate 8's south frontage road, one of Yuma County's fastest-growing residential corridors. The branch is managed by Eric Kahler and offers extended evening hours Tuesday through Thursday to accommodate working families and students. Each year the library produces its signature Art & Poetry Exhibition — now in its seventh year — pairing local visual artists with poets around a theme that explores the Yuma region's identity as a transportation and cultural crossroads, from its frontier river-crossing history to its present-day binational community. The exhibition draws artists and audiences from across the Yuma area and reflects the library's role as a community cultural anchor beyond book borrowing.
