📖 About Paradise Hills Library

The story of Paradise Hills Library begins in 1946, when community leaders established the neighborhood's first library inside a nearby elementary school to serve the then-new residential area. Over the following years, residents organized and fundraised to secure a permanent home, eventually combining donated land, community contributions, and city matching funds to construct a dedicated building. The current 3,875-square-foot facility was dedicated in 1964 and has remained the heart of the community ever since. Branch manager Dominic Marostica leads a staff committed to serving Paradise Hills' diverse families, with programs ranging from weekly storytime for young children to digital literacy support for adults. A paved outdoor patio extends the branch's usable space for programming and relaxed reading. The library has an active Friends of the Library group that supports collections and events.
