South Mountain Community Library is a joint-use public library jointly operated by the City of Phoenix through the Phoenix Public Library (PPL) and South Mountain Community College (SMCC), part of the Maricopa Community Colleges system. The facility opened in September 2011 on the SMCC campus at 7050 S. 24th Street, representing one of the most ambitious library-college collaborations in Arizona.
