One of 65 NYPL branches erected with funds donated to New York City by Andrew Carnegie. Located in the Lower East Side, it houses adult, reference, young adult, children's, media, and world-language collections across multiple floors, with a literacy center on the lower level. Free after-school tutoring program (ages 6-12); STEAM Discovery Kits for borrowing; mobile printing; no late fines; fully accessible location; free online classes and databases.
