The Vienna Public Library has been a cornerstone of Wood County civic life since 1954, when the Vienna Woman's Club established it to serve the city's residents. Reorganized under an independent Board of Trustees through the City of Vienna in 1973, the library moved into its current home at 2300 River Road in 1976. Today it serves nearly 11,000 Vienna residents, circulating more than 115,000 items annually from a collection of over 61,000 volumes. Director Brenna Call leads a team that pairs a traditional collection with free public computers, Wi-Fi, a meeting room, and notary services, guided by the library's mission to Discover, Connect, and Inspire.
