The Wauwatosa Public Library is the public library of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, a first-ring suburb immediately west of Milwaukee in Milwaukee County. The library has operated from within the Municipal Memorial Center at 7635 W. North Avenue since 1957, sharing the building with city hall and a public auditorium — a mid-century approach to shared civic facilities. Wauwatosa itself grew rapidly after a 1952 annexation more than doubled its area, and the library has grown alongside it.
