📖 About New Berlin Public Library
The New Berlin Public Library is the community library of New Berlin, Waukesha County, a Milwaukee suburb that grew from a rural township into a city of nearly 40,000 residents over the second half of the twentieth century. The library belongs to the Bridges Library System, a consortium of Waukesha and Jefferson County public libraries, giving cardholders access to a shared catalog of hundreds of thousands of items with free transfers between branches. Inside the current building on Library Lane, patrons will find the MakerStudio — a hands-on creative space equipped with a 3D printer, embroidery machine, button maker and craft supplies — alongside a Library of Things collection of practical items to borrow, and an Explore Passes program offering free or reduced admission to more than twenty regional museums, nature centers and attractions, including the Milwaukee Art Museum, Harley-Davidson Museum and Wisconsin State Park system.
