The Stayton Public Library is a city-operated public library serving the Gateway to the Santiam Canyon. It belongs to the Chemeketa Cooperative Regional Library System (CCRLS), an 18-member consortium that unifies collections and services across Marion and Polk counties. Through the CCRLS shared catalog, Stayton cardholders can place holds on items from any member library and access a broad range of print, digital, and audiovisual materials. The library sits at the heart of downtown Stayton and has earned a reputation for active community programming — from weekly Family Storytime and Toddler Time to Fiber Arts, STEAM Days, poetry slams, and after-hours events.
