📚 About Cuyahoga County Public Library
Cuyahoga County Public Library (CCPL), established in 1922, is the public library system for suburban Cuyahoga County, Ohio. It operates 27 branches that serve 47 communities in the suburbs surrounding Cleveland — including Bay Village, Beachwood, Berea, Brecksville, Parma, Solon and Strongsville.
CCPL is not the same as the Cleveland Public Library. The City of Cleveland has its own separate system, the Cleveland Public Library, while CCPL covers the surrounding suburban communities. The two systems collaborate (the Greater Access Library Card, created in 2003, lets customers borrow across both), but they are distinct library districts.
CCPL is a member of CLEVNET, a shared catalog and resource-sharing network: a single CCPL card borrows materials across 40+ participating Northeast Ohio libraries. This page lists 21 of the system's 27 branches that we have individually verified, each with address, hours and services on its own page.
