The Martin Luther King, Jr. Branch of Cleveland Public Library sits in University Circle at 10601 Euclid Avenue, among the city's cultural and civic institutions. A new MLK Jr. campus opened in 2025, unveiled on January 25, replacing the branch's long-time Stokes Boulevard home and designed as a hub for learning, dialogue, and community connection. The branch continues to house a collection focused on African-American history and the Civil Rights Movement, alongside a vibrant urban fiction collection. Its gallery hosts rotating art exhibitions throughout the year, and the campus includes a large meeting room. Programming leans into creative expression and youth engagement, with art therapy, creative writing and spoken word, gaming, and a chess program. Printing, copying, scanning, and faxing are available for a fee, and patrons get two hours of free parking nearby.
