The Margaret E. Heggan Free Public Library is the public library serving Washington Township in Gloucester County, New Jersey, and has served township residents since 1966. It is named for Margaret Elizabeth "Peg" Heggan (1912–), a longtime library volunteer, supporter and Washington Township's first female mayor; the library was renamed in her honor in 1983 after she was named the local Chamber of Commerce Person of the Year. The library is a member of LOGIN — the Libraries of Gloucester, Salem and Cumberland Information Network — a shared consortium whose catalog lets a Heggan card borrow across dozens of member libraries in South Jersey.
