Round Mountain Public Library is one of two branches of the Smoky Valley Library District (SVLD), serving the unincorporated community of Round Mountain in Nye County, Nevada. Situated in the Smoky Valley at roughly 5,700 feet elevation, Round Mountain's economy revolves around the Kinross Gold open-pit mine — one of the largest gold-mining operations in the United States.
